DIY – Design it yourself, Wrought iron design.
So many designs on the internet, for wrought iron work. But the more reasonable priced ones all look kind of the same. You want something different but don’t want to pay the high bespoke prices. Then this is for you. As the title suggests you can always design it yourself, as not as difficult as you think. Probably not as expensive as you think. Almost any aspect of wrought iron work can be made, to an individual personalised design. The main trouble with bespoke in terms of cost is time spent designing and making it.
The idea here is to eliminate some of that time spent doing the design work. Therefore reducing the cost. Its all based on a very simple principle. A base design with a price. Then add optional extras. Change a plain upright bar in gate or railing for a fancy or decorative one. That bar has a price. So you know what extra it costs to put that decorative bar in.
Its slightly different for each thing, gates obviously being a little different from railings. Its all very much at the moment in the “beta” stage and is being refined. So feed back is more than welcome. I have tried to include as many options as possible. As well as explain it, for each relevant section.
