A simple garden gate design, with centre scroll design to add some detail

Despite being considered a budget gate due to wider bar spacings, this is still made to a very high specification. With 30mm x 10mm flat bar for frame and 12mm round for the uprights. Scroll work is made from 13mm x 5mm flat.

On a 840mm wide (2ft 9inch) gate the gaps between bars are around 110mm wide
On a 915mm wide (3ft) gate the gaps increase to 122mm
on a 990mm (3ft 3 inch) gate the gaps further increase to 134mm

Dimensions for height are 900mm to the top of the frame. when hung this allows for 50mm ground clearance underneath. But as all are made to order this dimension can easily be changed.

These can be made wider than 990mm. the issue then becomes the gap between bars. This usually just means extra bars have to be introduce to the design to close the gap.

All are supplied with adjustable hinges. This allows +/- 20mm to stated size. These are great for hanging on a wall or post that isn’t perfectly level.

Price

Based on using the above specification in materials and at 900mm high to top of frame when hung.

Size not listed, not a problem everything is on a made to measure basis. so 940mm is will be the same as 990mm. If requesting a 4 ft tall version this adds about £30 to the price.

Weight is approximately 20kg based on 915mm wide.

Other options for steel sizes are available 40mm x 10mm for frame and 16mm or 20mm for upright. Alternatively 12mm square could be used for the uprights.
