As a point to note railings should be ideally 40mm clear of the wall. not with the bottom bar sitting on the top of the wall.

The standard railing with a choose decorative railing heads. This is the basic design that the majority of railings are built from. Individual uprights can be replaced with decorative bars to create an individual design.

Dip down railing, these are best suited to taller railings and railings of similar lengths, so as to keep the curve the same or as similar as possible. Although the length of the shoulders can be varied to keep the curve the same
Shouldered arch railing, this really is just the above design with the top bar mirrored upwards
Full arch railing, due to the nature of these if using multiple panels these need to be the same size keep the arch looking the same on all panels.
As with all the above, they can be adapted to produce unique designs. By removing individual bars and replacing them with decorative bars.
A small example of some of the designs possible. Much depends on the size off the railing. The length and height has an effect on what is possible in terms of design. But the possibilities are most certainly numbered in the thousands.
